This is a very nice photo of a tigress and her cub, with the cub''s face close to the mother, as if asking a question. It is a well-executed photo with a simple (but not simplistic) subject. The low F-stop used blurs the background and lets the viewer focus on the tigers and their faces, while the shutter speed and ISO are well balanced to bring out the color of the tigers fur and whiskers without motion blurring.
The theme of this photo is motherhood, as seen from the point of view of an animal lover, and to see a baby tiger cub looking at it's mother in this way evokes a strong feeling of endearment in the viewer of this image. We can easily assign human emotions to the tigers in this image, and it reminds us of the similarities other animals have to humans. We feel like we understand that the young tiger cub loves and trusts it's mother absolutely, and that the mother appears to be pensive about how to best provide for her young.
I gave this photo a neutral 5/10 score for the "originality" rating, and a less than perfect 9/10 score for the "vision" rating, because the purpose of this photo (I believe) is not to be original, or edgy, or to make a point, it is simply a classic appeal to universal human themes via beloved animals, and in that goal it is a perfectly effective piece of art.
